At eWear, quality
also means
sustainability
today
as
tomorrow
eWear stands for functionality, comfort and high quality – sustainability is an integral part of this. Because gamers also have an impact on the environment – both online and offline.
The aim.one consciously sets itself apart from existing standards.
It’s made from sustainable fabrics: plant-based TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers, organic cotton and recycled polyester – with a touch of elastane.
TENCEL™
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are made from sustainably produced wood. All areas of origin are certified and controlled – awarded with the BioPreferred® label by the US Department of Agriculture. The production process is closed. From the beginning to the end.
In this process, botanic pulp is converted into cellulose fibres. Process water is recycled. More than 99 % of the solvent is returned to the cycle.
That’s innovation.
So innovative, in fact, that the manufacturing process was honoured with the European Environmental Award in the "Technology Award for Sustainable Development" category.
Organic cotton
Produced according to organic farming guidelines: without genetic modification, without synthetic chemicals, without pesticides, without fertilisers. But with a whole lot of nature.
The fact that the cotton is harvested by hand and not mechanised speaks in favour of varietal purity. This ensures a particularly high-quality end product.
Certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOATS).
Recycled polyester
Recycled polyester consists of plastics that have been cleaned, reduced in size and converted into fibres. For example, old PET bottles, ocean plastic and broken fishing nets are given a new lease of
life. This is better for the environment than virgin polyester. And it is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified.
Accessories
A garment is more than just fabric. The aim.one anyway. Even the 'little things' with a big impact are therefore, without exception, from partners who act in a socially responsible and sustainable manner. They are all based in Europe. Nothing has to travel around the world for production.

Production
All aim.one textiles are produced by a family business in Portugal. The former newcomer is now a leading company on the market for knitwear and sportswear. Sustainability is also practised here: economic and social successes are harmonized with the environment. For an optimal result. And that suits eWear.
In line with your needs – in line with nature.
Botanic origin
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are made from the renewable raw material wood – from near-natural forests, certified and controlled.
Supply chain transparency
The manufacturing process is closed, focussing on high resource efficiency and low ecological impact.
Biodegradable
All TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are compostable and biodegradable so that they can be fully returned to nature.
